Hospitality

Belonging to a synagogue is about creating community, and our Hospitality Team is an important way in which you can contribute to our community’s Beit Tefilah, house of prayer. Our Hospitality Team enhances our community’s prayer services by warmly greeting congregants and guests; handing out prayer books, programs, kippot, tallitot, and other worship items; and answering general questions.

Davening Team

Do you love Jewish music?  Do you sing or play an instrument?  Temple B'nai Torah is looking for intermediate to advanced musicians to participate in t'filah on Shabbat and holidays. As a team with other talented congregants, you will learn about our sacred liturgy, discover new Jewish music and co-create a powerful  and transformative prayer experience unlike any other in the Pacific Northwest! If you would like to audition for our Davening Team, please please email contact@templebnaitorah.org.

Temple B’nai Torah encourages all congregants to actively engage with our Torah, from reading, chanting, blessing and handling the Torah during our services.  If you would like to participate in our Saturday morning Torah readings on a regular basis, please email contact@templebnaitorah.org.

Participating in our services is a fantastic way to serve with both time and talent. From welcoming guests and old friends to showcasing your artistic gifts or your love of Torah, there are many ways to be involved.
