2:00 PM - 4:00 PMTemple B'nai Torah Multipurpose RoomThe Jewish people have been bound to the earth since God breathed life into the first human, Adam, having formed them out of adamah—mud, or for lack of a better word, dirt. Our calendar and holidays align with the agricultural cycle of the geographic region in which we formed. And so it makes sense that as threats to our climate and natural ecosystems have increased, so too has our anxiety.
If you have been feeling overwhelmed, scared, or confused about the future of the earth, this support circle is for you. Led by Rabbi Dusty Klass over six sessions, we will process our own experiences and anxieties, explore ways in which Jewish teachings speak to those anxieties, and provide support to each other as we grapple together with the realities of our world.
