What does Lifelong Learning look like at TBT?
Temple B’nai Torah is a community dedicated to intergenerational and lifelong learning. We offer a wide variety of engaging learning opportunities for people of all ages. Jewish expression takes a variety of forms and we encourage each individual to find their own unique connection with Jewish tradition.
Tots
Our Tot Shabbat program geared towards children ages 0-5 celebrates Shabbat the first Friday of the month from 5:30pm - 6pm with singing, dancing, stories and blessings. We meet during the school year from September/October through May/June.
Kids
Our Shabbat-based Religious School program offers opportunities for students to see the world through a Jewish lens. We meet on Saturday mornings from 9:30am - 12pm and begin after the fall chaggim (holidays). Each year is filled with special events that translate Jewish learning into opportunities for Jewish celebration and growth.
Teens
We are committed to supporting teens in their Jewish identity formation beyond b'mitzvah and through high school. Our 6th-8th grade program meets on Saturday mornings from 9:30am - 12pm.
Our 9th-12th grade program meets on Wednesdays from 6pm - 8pm. We also have an active youth group for 9th-12th graders (BTY) and proudly participate in NFTY, the North American Federation of Temple Youth.
Adults
Adults can learn, connect and participate in a variety of educational and cultural opportunities including guest speakers, classes and outings.
Employment Opportunities
We are actively hiring teachers for the 2023-2024 (5784) school year! We are looking for creative, energetic individuals who can help our students engage in Jewish learning and living. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, collaborative individuals with a passion for inspiring a love of Jewish learning.
