1:30pm Spiritual Activities for this Day of Awe
Yom Kippur afternoon is an opportunity to explore the meaning of atonement, faith, struggle, hope–the themes of this day. We do so with a choice of activities for the body, mind, and spirit. Plan on staying with us for 75 minutes of exploration. Information on the activities will be shared in the coming weeks.
3:00pm Afternoon Healing Service
This year has had more than its share of physical, emotional, and spiritual dis-ease. In this service we will draw on the power of prayer, community, and Torah to seek healing and strength--for our loved ones and ourselves.
This emotionally evocative service offers space to remember those whom we have loved and lost. As part of our hour-long service, we will share our annual Yizkor memorial book and will read the names of those members who have passed away since last Yom Kippur.
Our Yom Kippur observance draws to a close with a 60-minute service of hope and rededication to our faith and belief in the goodness of humanity. As we conclude, we will blow the shofar, and will celebrate Havdalah, marking the end of our fasting and the renewal of our spirits.
Enjoy a light nosh with your TBT community. Please register so we know to expect you!
