We are pleased to announce the hiring of Lisa Loomis as the inaugural Solomike Early Childhood Center (SECC) Director.

 Lisa has more than 30 years of business experience, especially in management and human resources. She started and ran a successful youth drama program for 16 years. Recently she found her passion of working in early childhood education as the Site Director at the Green Lake Preschool and Childcare Center in Seattle. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her grandkids and directing children's musicals.  We are thrilled to welcome Lisa and looking forward to all that lies ahead!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Search Committee members: Elliot Paull, Rabbi Molly Weisel, Robin Negrin, Sue Howell, Barb Carmichael, and Dan Black. We also offer special thanks to Shanna Jadwin and the entire team at DRG Talent for their contributions to the search process.

Lisa has hit the ground running in her new role and is already busy building her team and recruiting volunteers. The SECC will have many needs over the next several months, including, but not limited to, recruiting staff and students, outfitting the classrooms (including material prep), developing the SECC website, and getting the word out to the community.
