Shalom, TBT family!

I'm Keith Ketover, your fellow congregant, and the chair of the Worship Committee here at TBT. As part of the Board of Directors, I have the privilege of leading a fantastic group dedicated to making our sacred services meaningful and uplifting.

Our committee has its hands full with various responsibilities, from maintaining ritual policies to caring for our sacred objects. Yet, what truly fills our hearts is supporting our incredible clergy. We work closely with our long-standing members, drawing on their wisdom while embracing change to keep our observances modern and relevant. Striking this balance is a constant challenge, and we welcome your feedback to help us navigate it better.

This year, we've taken on a new role in planning and participating in monthly community-led services. By doing so, we're not only creating additional capacity and coverage for our clergy but also fostering a deeper connection within our community. We invite you to join us in this endeavor! There are numerous ways to get involved, whether by leading services, preparing a thoughtful "Drash," volunteering for an English reading, or simply worshiping with us.

Our committee, though small, is mighty, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Carol Schuster, Ellen Weiss Phelps, Mollie Launer, Sally Winter, and Rabbi Molly for making our team a joy to be a part of. If you've ever considered having a say in how we pray together, this is your chance! We welcome members of all backgrounds and traditions, regardless of knowledge or experience. If you are worried about the commitment, we only have one hour-long Zoom meeting each month. It is on the third Thursday of each month at 7 PM.

Your input matters, and your presence can help shape the future of our worship experiences. If you're interested in joining the committee, participating in community-led services, or just want to chat, feel free to reach out (contact@templebnaitorah.org). I look forward to welcoming new faces to our committee as we continue to build a worshipful community together.
