Sisterhood is our temple’s auxiliary whose mission is to build connections between those who identify as women at TBT to each other and, in turn, the Temple, our community and the world-at-large, as part of Women of Reform Judaism. We have a very exciting way to build those connections coming up in the spring and we invite you all to participate!

Register here for In-Person or Virtual: https://www.wrjpacific.org/2023-registration.html

PictureOur member, Carol Schuster, will be installed as the next president of the WRJ Pacific District (all of the west coast) at our upcoming convention to be held at the Bellevue Westin hotel from March 23-26, 2023. We are so proud of Carol for her leadership! In addition to registering and attending the entire convention, any member of TBT is invited to join us Friday March 24 for Shabbat services followed by a catered dinner. This will be a beautiful Sisterhood Shabbat designed service blended with music from our Davening Team. We will bus all the convention attendees (at least 100) over from the hotel to join our very full sanctuary. We will be posting a link to register just for the dinner closer to the time.

We have designed this convention to be truly hybrid so there is a Registration form for In Person and another for Virtual. When you click on the above link, you will find lots of information about convention including the Schedule which lists the many workshops and Torah study sessions that will be offered. The Pacific District is also able to offer scholarships to Sisterhood members to help with the expenses for the convention, and information is on the website link above.

PictureOur theme – “Reimagining Traditions: Finding Harmony and Balance” – reminds us how our Judaism continues to evolve and adapt over time while maintaining its core values, one of the reasons Judaism remains relevant and vibrant thousands of years after its beginning, and similarly, why we – Women of Reform Judaism – remain relevant and vibrant over 100 years after our beginning as an organization. We look forward to meeting new people, seeing friends we have made over the years, learning about everyone’s challenges and successes, gathering new ideas and information, getting involved, giving back, and just having fun together.

We are thrilled to be able to join together again in-person for our 2023 WRJ PD Convention! We are so grateful to many of our TBT Sisterhood members who are serving on our committees to make this a wonderful convention for all.
