10:00 AM - 11:30 AMVirtual (Zoom)

Join your Federation’s JCRC for a deep dive inside Israel’s democracy at 75 on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 10am. From the most recent developments around judicial reform, to the seemingly endless election cycles of recent years, to the diversity of the Israeli electorate - together, we will explore it all and walk away with a nuanced understanding of some of the most significant developments impacting Israel’s democracy today. We are honored and excited to welcome two renowned speakers for this program: Professor Suzie Navot, Vice President of Research for Israeli Democracy Institute, and Shira Efron, Diane and Guilford Glazer Foundation Senior Director of Policy Research for Israel Policy Forum.

The JCRC works to foster substantive, civil discourse about key issues impacting American Jewry’s relationship with Israel and to educate the broader community on the importance of preserving Israel as a Jewish and democratic state. This program is for everyone - those who have a wealth of expertise in this arena and those for whom it is brand new - all are welcome!
