What: You are invited to join an exclusive private tour of three new exhibitions at the Bellevue Arts Museum (BAM). The new BAM Executive Director, E. Michael Whittington, will personally lead us on a tour of “L’Affichomania: The Passion for French Posters,” an exhibition featuring lithographic prints by the five grandmasters of the medium, including Alphonse Mucha and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, followed by docent-led tours of “Spirit,” an exhibition of quilts by local fiber artist Joey Veltkamp that transforms BAM’s third-floor galleries into a kind of country fair or high school auditorium, and “Laboratory for Other Worlds” by multimedia artist Patte Loper, which uses animation, sound, and everyday objects to create a hand-woven, immersive environment.

Following the tour, the group will enjoy a (no-host) social hour with refreshments at nearby Tavern Hall, across the street in Bellevue Square. We hope to see you at this exciting event!
