“Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story” is a film about food waste and food rescue. Watch the story of how the filmmakers and food lovers, Jen and Grant, saved money, reduced wasted food and carbon emissions, and addressed food insecurity. Jen and Grant dive into the issue of waste from farm, through retail, and all the way to the back of their own fridge. “Just Eat It” is a cinematic story that is equal parts education and delicious entertainment. 

The film won the Leo for Best Feature Length Documentary, received multiple festival awards, and has been translated into 14 languages. Critics have called the film lively, funny, and thought provoking.

Teresa Carew from On Safari Catering who will speak about sustainable in the food industry
Arnie Goldstein from the Temple B'nai Torah Mitzvah Garden who will speak about growing and donating food
Author Julia L.F. Goldstein who will speak about ways to reduce food waste at home
