Literary Circle with Rabbi Nemitoff: Unveiling Diverse Narratives with “The Haj"
Thursday, March 14, 2024 • 4 Adar II 5784
7:30 PM - 8:30 PMZoomJoin Rabbi Nemitoff on a 2-part literary journey, with each session focusing on a different book. We’ll begin our journey on March 14 with The Haj, a work of historical fiction that offers an Arab/Palestinian perspective on Israel that is particularly relevant given the current crisis in the region.
The Haj provides a valuable insight into the Arab/Palestinian viewpoint on Israel's history from 1948 onwards. Without casting aspersions, this book offers us a diversity of perspective and greater understanding of the thoughts and actions of individuals identifying as Palestinian and/or from the Middle East.
Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
…and please join us for our second literary session on May 21, where we’ll explore the book As A Driven Leaf, another work of historical fiction set in 1st century Israel that focuses on faith and the belief in God.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
