6:30 PM - 8:00 PMZoomTaught by Rabbi Molly Weisel, this course offers an open-minded, interdisciplinary exploration of Israel through historical, cultural, political, and religious lenses. Designed to foster thoughtful inquiry rather than definitive answers, we will engage with diverse narratives and perspectives to better understand the layered complexities of Israel.
No prior knowledge is required—only a willingness to listen, question, and learn in a respectful environment. Please note that this class is only open to TBT members.
We will use Daniel Sokatch’s book, “Can We Talk About Israel? A Guide for the Curious, Confused, and Conflicted” as our guiding text with lots of supplemental material.
Class Requirements:
- Must be a TBT member

- Acquire a copy of “Can We Talk About Israel? A Guide for the Curious, Confused, and Conflicted” by Daniel Sokatch
