Going Green at TBT
In conjunction with the City of Bellevue, TBT has completed its pledge to “Refresh Our Recycling!” You can click on the image to see our name on the official Bellevue website. Thank you for partnering with us in sustainability!
What are those green barrels?
This summer, you’ll start seeing green barrels alongside the trash and recycling bins in TBT’s kitchen and social hall. These are compost bins. You can throw all of your food waste in them. Starting in July, TBT’s disposable plates, cups, napkins, and utensils will all be compostable, so you’ll be able to dispose of those in the compost bins too. Bal tashchit, “do not waste,” is an important Jewish principle, and composting will help all of us abide by it.
What goes where?
