Committees at TBT
There are many committees which develop meaningful programming, opportunities to connect, and run the basic functions of the Temple: Worship, Learning, Community. Below is the current list of committees and their chairperson – you’ll notice that we have a few empty slots. If you’re interested in becoming a member of a committee or even considering leading one, please email our President, Nicola Walker.
Committee | Description |
---|---|
Development |
This committee works hard to raise the remaining operational expenses for TBT that are not covered by membership dues. From organizing our yearly fundraiser to coordinating special events for our Patron Circle donors, they are concerned with seeing to the legacy of TBT. |
Finance |
Overseeing the daily finances of TBT, this committee offers wisdom and guidance alongside staff members of TBT for maintaining our financial health. |
Lifelong Learning |
This committee supports the religious and cultural education of our entire community. We advise and support the clergy team on matters pertaining to Religious School, youth programming, and Adult Learning. |
Membership |
This committee is devoted to the regular inreach and outreach of TBT to our members and friends. Inreach – they plan meaningful events to build community and strategic opportunities to learn more about ways to connect at TBT. Outreach – they coordinate opportunities for TBT members to invite friends, or to connect with the wider community |
