If you like to sing, or have ever before sung in a choir and miss the friendships and joy of making sacred music, please consider giving of yourself, your time and your good energy to enhance our TBT services. SING (OR PLAY) UNTO GOD A NEW SONG
Temple Choir and BIG BAND are both looking for some new musicians. If you've always wanted to join in leading services, here's another way for you to share in the joy of Shabbat using the "gift of music." As it says in the Psalms, "Kol Han'shamah T'hallel Yah. Let every living soul praise The Holy One." What better way to praise God than with the sounds of passionate music? To join either the choir or BIG BAND, call or write Karen Sakamoto in the office ksakamoto@templebnaitorah.org and she'll get you signed up!

Prospective Choir Members - If your are interested in joining the choir, simply come to the rehearsal 15 minutes early (Tuesday nights, rehearsal begins at 7:15 pm) and have a simple chat with Cantor Serkin-Poole. If you can hold your pitch and can come on most Tuesday evenings - you're in. If you don't yet read music, don't worry; you'll learn as you go along from the veterans. We especially need more tenors and basses, but altos and sopranos are very welcome to join as well.
