These groups were started at TBT Connects in Fall 2009. They are open to all members of our community. We encourage you to try one! Our purpose is to build connections between our members.
 

Below is a brief description of each group and contact information so you can get started! You can also learn about many of the upcoming events by checking your TBT Weekly email or you can get on the elist for each group by contacting the group coordinator at the email or phone number listed.

Enjoy a variety of cultural events around the Seattle/Eastside area, including lectures, museums, shows, musicals, generally on the 4th Sunday afternoon of the month. The cost for each event will be $15 or under. Either before or after the event, we'll meet at a coffee shop or cafe.

Let's see a movie together each month and grab a bite and talk about it afterwards. We have a member of the group “host” our monthly movie outing on the second Sunday of the month in the late afternoon/early evening.  We have a yahoo group we use to publicize our upcoming activities at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tbtmovies/

Gardeners of all levels are invited to join TBT Gardeners Club.  We meet about once a month, during the day, sometimes weekdays, occasionally weekends to hear speakers, tour gardens or go on fieldtrips. The club will determine the interests of its members and go from there. Please try us out!

Skiing trips will be based on snow conditions.  Hiking will resume in March. Most likely be every other Friday and alternating every other Saturday or Sunday.

Let's meet to go dancing--ballroom, salsa, east and west coast swing...No partner necessary. We go to dances where it is very comfortable to dance with anyone! Interested? Try us out!

Enjoy board and other games with others in a member's home. The time is determined by group.

Let's eat and chat at a local restaurant with a discounted Happy Hour menu on a Saturday evening, usually from around 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Though date may vary, we usually get together on the second Saturday of the month at a location chosen by a member of our group.
